The Daytime Book Club usually meets on the last Monday of every month (except holidays) from 10 am to Noon.

Oct. 27	"Master Butcher's Singing Club" by Louise Erdrich Compelling novel of early 20th century immigrant settlers.	Host: Joanne Straker
Nov. 10	"Distant Land of My Father" by Bo Caldwell Expatriates in China and America before and after WWII adjust to their world and the events that shaped the nations.	Host: Vivien Kellerman
December	No Meeting
Jan. 26	"Infidel" by Ayaan Hirs Ali Memoir of Ali, a Somalian woman who emigrated to Amsterday. Her story presents us with a disturbing but provocative insight into the Muslim mind.	Host: Barbara Morgan
Feb. 23	"Walt Disney" by Neal Gabler Biography of the man who has arguably been called the greatest single influence of the 20th century. Pre-discussion about the book (and the man) has already garnered lots of discussion within our group.	Host: TBD
